About

Hello! I’m Annalise and I am the creator and owner of Sweet Art Celebrations.

Our kitchen is based in Croobyar on the stunning South Coast. Sweet Art Celebrations began with a love of baking and decorating cakes for family and friends, and has evolved into cakes for all occasions and themes.

I pride myself on delivering a service that is to the highest quality and am committed to creating a cake that looks and tastes sensational. All of our cakes are made from scratch, using high quality ingredients.

I love working with an abundance of florals, and different buttercream techniques to create a unique design for each celebration.

We also offer customised cake topper design. I have a passion for art and graphics and love incorporating those into each edible creation.

We offer sample boxes several times per year to ensure that the centrepiece of your celebration is exactly what you’re wanting.

Contact us today for a Quote and discussion about your order – we would love to hear from you!

FAQ

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Sweet Art Celebrations is a home based business located in Croobyar, on the stunning South Coast of NSW. It is council approved and registered.

DO YOU OFFER SAMPLES IF I DON’T KNOW WHICH FLAVOUR TO CHOOSE?

We do – we offer sample boxes several times per year. These are advertised on my Facebook and Instagram pages and include 7 of our most popular flavours for $40.00.

WHAT ARE YOUR OPERATING HOURS?

Sweet Art Celebrations is open between the hours of 9am and 6pm Monday to Saturday, and between 9am and 10am on Sunday’s (scheduled pick ups only). These hours are strict. Please advise if you need to come outside of these hours.

DO YOU DELIVER?

Yes. Local delivery adds a $15 fee to your order. Deliveries as far as Nowra and Batemans Bay will add $60.00+.

If you are picking up your cake, it needs to be placed on a flat surface, either on the passenger seat floor or the boot. Do not place it on the seat as it is on too much of an angle. It is recommended to turn your air conditioning on and drive straight to where the cake will be stored so that it remains in prime condition.

Sweet Art Celebrations is not responsible for any damage to the cake once it has left the premises.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK?

As far as possible. While we do our best to fit in every order, we need as much time as possible to order any special items and to plan the perfect creation.

HOW DO I PAY?

A 50% non refundable deposit needs to be paid to secure your booking. The balance is due no later than a fortnight before the date of your event.

HOW DO I STORE MY CAKE?

Please keep your cake in the fridge until 1-2 hours before it is served. This ensures that the buttercream is firm and the cake is stable. Cakes are much nicer to eat when they are at room temperate which is why it is recommended to remove them before they are served.

Please remove any cake toppers, graphics and flowers before cake is cut.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH LEFTOVERS?

Should there be any, they can be wrapped in Glad Wrap or stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. None of our cakes can be frozen unless discussed previously.

ARE FRESH FLOWERS FOOD SAFE?

All fresh flowers used on Sweet Art Celebrations’ cakes are sourced from either Ulladulla or Milton Florist. They are first cleaned, and then the stems are wrapped in parafilm so that they are not in direct contact with the cake and/or buttercream. All flowers must removed before the cake is cut.

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

You can either fill out the enquiry form on this site, or send a direct message on Facebook or Instagram (sweetart_celebrations). Please include your name, phone number, preferred flavour, amount of serves needed, date you require the cake for, theme, and any pictures that you think might be relevant.

Alternatively we can be contacted on 0408 434 049.

CAN I HAVE A CAKE MADE THAT I CAN DECORATE MYSELF?

While we do love the science of baking and the enjoyment of recipe testing, our true passion is in creating edible art pieces, and therefore all cakes are sold fully decorated.
